They were fast friends and for years supported each other through the trials and tribulations of obtaining their  bachelors, masters, and (almost done) PhD programs. Two and a half years ago Barbara put the moves on Jason (go girl, I did the same with my husband), friendship blossomed into love, and now a wedding date has been set!!!!

We decided for this portion of the shoot to mix Jason’s favorite hat, Barbara’s awesome yellow shoes, and their general love for bright colors into a more urban environment. Just before sunset we headed  over to Little Italy incorporating the exterior of the ultra cool El Camino Restaurant (highly recommend it, yummy yummy food) and nearby surroundings. As all of us beach lovers know May Gray and June Gloom are upon us but it is important to remember overcast skies = great portrait lighting.

These two were so great to photograph, completely willing to ham it up, act “goofy”, and let their love for each other shine through. Enjoy the photos, Lovebirds :)
