  • Welcome to my blog!

As a wedding photographer with nearly a decade of experience, I take pride in knowing that my images will be cherished forever by the couple and their families. My photos have been described as fresh, vibrant and stylish, while maintaining a clean and classic aesthetic. Throughout the day, my assistant and I maintain a fun and relaxed atmosphere that allows us to capture not only the must-have traditional images, but true, emotional candid moments that will forever allow you to recapture the magic and relive the defining moment in your life together.

MaryBeth and Steve’s Engagement Shoot

When MaryBeth asked for suggestions regarding which beach to do their engagement shoot I was quick to explain why I thought Coronado would be the perfect choice. Weekend shoots at the beach can be tough as far as crowd control goes but Coronado Beach is so wide open that it is quite easy to find your own little slice of heaven. This can be really important if your nervous about taking pictures to begin with (MaryBeth and Steve confessed they were) since you don’t want to draw a crowd. To help get into the groove we took our time walking through the neighborhood and local park before hitting the beach. These two are super cute with each other and I am happy to report at the end of the shoot they both expressed how much fun they had, now I call that a good day at the office:)

Vanessa’s Bridal Shower

Over the years I have shot numerous engagement sessions and rehearsal dinners but never a bridal shower so I was very excited when Vanessa contacted me to photograph hers. It was a wonderful opportunity for me to meet important family and friends not to mention getting to enjoy a fabulous cupcake (I LOVE cupcakes for those who don’t know). Vanessa and her husband- to- be Sal have been together for seven years, so despite her  maid of honors best attempt to stump Vanessa on questions about Sal and important milestones in their relationship Vanessa came through with flying colors! I look forward to being a part of their big day on June 19th. Stay tuned……

Rachael and Greg

Mother Nature had us guessing whether she was going to let Rachael and Greg hold their wedding as planned on the lawn of the Scripps Seaside Forum up until 30 minutes prior to the ceremony. The bride was about to flip a coin to help with the decision just as the sun peeked through. That was all the sign she needed and it was on! The couple and guests were troopers as they braved quite a bit of  wind, cooler temperatures, and a few raindrops but were rewarded with an absolutely beautiful service uniting these two lovebirds in matrimony. The festivities continued inside with a full night of dancing and lightsaber battles (yes you heard me, lightsabers, Greg is a huge fan of Star Wars). Congratulations you two, rain or shine you two are perfect together!

Thanks to all the other vendors who helped make this day possible.

Jill and Jesse

Temple Beth, Old Town

These pictures are very special to me since they are from my wonderful assistant Jill’s wedding on December 9th. She has worked with me for 4 years now and it was just wonderful being able to photograph her on one of her happiest days ever. She looked so beautiful and they both just glowed all day. Congratulations you two!
