Autumn is here… at least my assitant and I felt like it was during this beautiful wedding held at Estancia Hotel on September 18th. The weather was on the cooler side, leaves were falling from the trees, and Carolyn’s flowers enhanced the fall mood with beautiful combinations of yellows, oranges, and browns.
When I arrived at the ladies’ getting ready room all were calm, primped, and ready for photos. Since Carolyn and Robby did not want to see each other before the ceremony my assistant and I split up to individually photograph the bride and groom, their bridal parties and families at seperate locations around Estancia.
While photographing Carolyn she kept commenting to those around her how ready she was to get this show on the road and wanted to fast forward to the ceremony. Later when I regrouped with my assistant before the ceremony I asked how the groom was doing and she said, “great, a bit nervous, but really ready to get to the ceremony”. I thought, “oh that is really sweet, these two are both so excited”. Well let me tell you as soon as Carolyn hit the aisle and Robby finally saw her they both lit up and it was nonstop smiles from there on out, simply put…….. totally in love
